Sounds of a Spring Night

In early spring, the Larsen Sanctuary comes alive with the melodies of male frogs calling to the females to join them at the pond.  Come experience the chorus of spring peepers and look for more secretive animals like spotted salamanders and frogs, as well as the shy and increasingly rare woodcock. Boots, flashlights and warm attire are strongly suggested. Fee:  $6 for CAS Members, $8 for Non-members. To register or for more information, call 203-259-6305 ext. 109.
