Ash Creek Adventure

Saturday, September 8 from noon – 1:30 p.m. at Ash Creek Open Space in Fairfield

Late summer at the shore is an incredible time to explore. The Long Island Sound estuary is warmed by the hot summer sun and filled with a bounty of creatures. Come explore the amazing natural world of Ash Creek with Connecticut Audubon Society Teacher-Naturalist,Colleen Noyes. We invite you to delve “hands-first” in this interactive experience. Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet (no flip-flops please). Bring your buckets and nets and don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray. Meet at the far end of the parking lot near the picnic tables.

 Advance registration required. Program fee: $10/person for CAS members; $15/person for non-members. All proceeds support Connecticut Audubon Society environmental education programs. Register in advance by calling 203-259-6305 ext. 109.
