Birds In Their Habitat Art Exhibit and Sale
September 29 and 30 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Connecticut Audubon Society brings together talented artists who specialize in avian art during its third annual Birds In Their Habitat juried artists’ exhibition and sale. Gifted artists working in a variety of media have been selected to display and sell their works by a jury of specialists to ensure quality and professionalism. Media includes: painting, photography, pottery, printmaking, and wood carving. Also featured is Connecticut Audubon Society 2012 “Artist of the Year” David Allen Sibley who is an internationally recognized award-winning author and illustrator of nine books, most notably “The Sibley Guide to Birds”. His talk, “Art of Identification” will be at 11:00am on Saturday.

- Live “Birds of Prey” demonstrations by Connecticut Audubon Society’s teacher-naturalists throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday September 29th – 30th
