Roots to Branches: Past, Present & Future of Fairfield’s Urban Forests
Saturday, April 13 from 9:00am – Noon
Connecticut State Foresters Chris Donnelly and Rob Rocks will address how our past shaped the forests of today and why it is so important to manage this resource for tomorrow. After this one hour talk, participants may choose from a variety of workshops including:
- Tree planting – the right tree in the right place
- Pruning
- Tree ID/Habitat walks
- Invasive tree and shrub identification
