Another Great Speaker on Tap for Our Annual Meeting. Join Us!
You might have noticed this week that Time magazine put Andrew Revkin on its list of Top 25 bloggers of 2013, for the Dot Earth blog he writes for the New York Times.
If you were lucky enough to be at our Annual Meeting last September you heard a terrific talk by Andy, who was our keynote speaker.
This year our keynote speaker is Anthony Leiserowitz, Ph.D., director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communications and a research scientist at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science.
A frequent lecturer and TV guest, he will talk about his research into the ways in which our perceptions of climate change influence our communications about the subject and therefore influence our behavior.
Our Annual meeting is set for 7-9 p.m., Thursday, September 12, at the Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave., Southport.
The meeting is free and open to the public, and we invite you all to join us!
