Why Hibernate? Family program
Come join us Saturday, January 28 from 2-3:00 p.m. at the Coastal Center for a Ground Hog Day Discovery program. Do groundhogs really wake up and leave their burrow on February 2? Get the inside scoop as we uncover some interesting habits of this furry friend and other Connecticut hibernators. Our educator will begin with a story and share fun facts about hibernators. You and your child will make a take home craft, participate in some hands on activities and play the Hibernation Challenge!
Family program suitable for children ages 4 and up.
Fees based on one actively participating adult and one child.
Additional participants $6 each.
Fee: CAS Members $12 ; Non-members $16.
