Bird-friendly yards for a Bird-Friendly Fall

September 17, 2025—There are dozens of ways you can improve your property to benefit birds, during fall migration and beyond. They’re are good for pollinators and other wildlife too, and they will undoubtedly increase the number of visits you’ll get from warblers, sparrows, woodpeckers, butterflies and more.

Connecticut Audubon’s conservation manager, Stefan Martin, along with Jed Duguid of Oliver Nurseries in Fairfield, are ready to help. Join them for a special Bird-Friendly Fall presentation, via Zoom, on Tuesday, October 14, at 7 p.m.

They will have tips and practical information for native plantings and yard maintenance that will help you create great bird habitat on your property, or help you improve and fine-tune the work you’ve already done.

The presentation is free. For the Zoom link, click HERE to register. Sign up. It will be great!
