Author Talk by Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni

Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, emeritus state archaeologist with the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History, will discuss his new book, Hiking Ruins of Southern New England, on Sunday, October 5, at 2 p.m. at The Connecticut Audubon Society (CAS) Center at Pomfret, 218 Day Road. Admission is $5.00 for CAS members, $10.00 for non-members.

The guide takes you to 40 stone ruin sites in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Twenty-nine of the mapped and cued hikes are in Connecticut. The book is richly illustrated with color photographs taken at each location. Published by Falcon, it is a guide of the highest quality. Read more.
