RSVP for Connecticut State of the Birds!
The official release of the 2023 Connecticut State of the Birds report is set for Thursday, December 7, 11 a.m., via Zoom.
You’re invited to join us for the presentation. It’s free but we ask that you RSVP, below.
The 2023 report, titled “5 Key Issues: New knowledge and better technologies are changing conservation,” looks at key areas of conservation concern from previous reports—examples of how new knowledge, new realities, increased human effort, and better technologies are either resulting in changes or resulting in the awareness of the need for improvement.
You’ll hear from the authors of the report’s articles; from Milan Bull, Connecticut Audubon’s senior director of science and conservation, and from Tom Andersen, State of the Birds editor and Connecticut Audubon’s communications director.
The 2023 Connecticut State of the Birds report is sponsored by WSHU public radio, 91.1 FM and wshu.org.
