Nick Bonomo Joins Our ‘Bird Finder’ Team
This week we’re introducing the second new contributor to our weekly Connecticut Audubon Society Bird Finder, Nick Bonomo.
As Nick likes to say, he “has been birding Connecticut since his early teens and has not stopped since.” He leads tours for our EcoTravel program and has been a regular part of the top-notch birding team Frank Gallo puts together in spring and fall to raise money for our Milford Point Coastal Center.
His first Bird Finder entry, which will be posted later this week, will be about a species he hopes to find when he leads an Ecotravel day trip to northwestern Connecticut on February 28.
Nick lives in Wallingford and works as an orthopaedic surgery physician assistant. He blogs about his birding adventures at Shorebirder.com.
You can get all of our Bird Finders by email – just send your name to tandersen@ctaudubon.org. We post them each week on our blog, with links on Facebook and Twitter.
Nick joins Greg Hanisek as a regular Bind Finder contributor.
