Trail to Earth Day #16: Volunteer

April 20, 2020 — There’s an easy way to get involved and to do some good locally and immediately: volunteer.

We have two state-wide projects that directly benefit birds and also rely on volunteers – Osprey Nation and the Audubon Alliance for Coastal Waterbirds.

Our seven centers also have volunteer opportunities – planting and tending native flowers, shrubs, and trees; removing invasive plants; helping with bird banding; monitoring bird populations, etc., all of which can be done safely and with proper social distancing.
