Part-time Administrative Assistant position available
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Part Time Administrative Assistant takes direction from the Director of Development with supplemental direction from the Membership/Annual Appeal Manager and the Data Manager.
The primary responsibilities are:
- Support the mailing of acknowledgements and membership premiums
- Provide support in entering donations into Raiser’s Edge.
- Update Board portal information.
- Welcome and educate office walk-in visitors
- Answer the telephone
- Support event planning.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Assist Data Manager and Membership Associate with mailing gift acknowledgements and membership premiums.
- Support the coordination and promotion of Migration Madness online system, donations and volunteer updates.
- Interact with donors on phone or by email as needed.
- Manage Board related calendar invites, in conjunction with Director of Development and the Executive Director.
- Support in the updating of Board portal materials, including lists and other documents.
- Assist with entering updated grant information into Raiser’s Edge and shared drive folders.
- Assist the Director of Communications and Director of Development with posting grant awards on website and social media, as needed.
- Open support tickets with Raiser’s Edge (database) and SMB (IT consultant) as necessary and follow through until satisfactory resolution is reached
- Proactively identify opportunities for systems and workflow improvements, recognizing problems and recommending solutions
- Keep inventory of development and membership supplies; reorder when necessary
- Assist with projects and special events as needed
- Greet and serve our constituents in pleasant and efficient manner
Responsibilities and Duties
Requirements:
- Database experience, preferred but not required. Training available.
- Proficient with using MS Office software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiar with Google Drive.
