Watercolor Series: Avian and Marine Species

A beginner-friendly watercolor class taught by Jeanne Board-Fayumi.

The beauty of the fall season is approaching. We feel the changing cycles, and we see them before us as well. For some avian species, a challenging migration journey is about to unfold. Our subject matter for this series: Connecticut's turtles and herons!

This series of 8 classes is designed for beginner and intermediate adult students. These watercolor classes will teach and guide you in how to begin your own journey into a watery world of color. We will learn about watercolor tools, uses, products and techniques. This series will also incorporate oil pastel techniques, which can produce some exciting and colorful results alongside watercolor.

Participants will learn simple perspective technique, composition, color layering and color value importance. This will be accomplished step by step, building upon your work class by class with your Art Education teacher, Jeanne Board-Fayumi.
