Sanctuary Gardens

Sunken Garden

Nestled within the grounds is a thoughtfully restored sunken garden, now planted with a rich array of native species. Once a quiet hollow, it has become a welcoming gathering space, with tables and seating tucked among blooms and grasses. Here, we hope you will linger over conversation, reflection, or peaceful solitude, surrounded by the gentle movement of pollinators and the changing palette of the seasons.

Native Pollinator Garden

A dedicated native pollinator garden hums with life. Designed to nourish and sustain, this habitat has proudly supported the hatching of more than two dozen monarch butterflies, an enduring testament to the power of intentional planting. Milkweed, coneflowers, and other native species create a sanctuary not only for monarchs, but for bees, birds, and other beneficial insects.

Raised Organic Gardens

Education and stewardship take root in our raised organic gardens, where students engage directly with the soil and lessons of gardening. Here, herbs and vegetables are cultivated with care, offering hands-on learning in sustainability. Nearby, a thoughtfully planted berry garden provides food and refuge for local wildlife.

Bird Garden

A bird garden—rich with seed-bearing flowers, sheltering shrubs, and layered plantings offers a haven for birds year-round.
