Fairfield Nature Explorer Launch – at Pequot Library

Kick off summer with us at the Pequot Library as we launch our collaborative Summer Nature Explorer Program!

Enjoy hands-on crafts, birdwatching, and a guided exploration of the library's new nature trail while learning about our exciting Nature Explorer Scavenger Hunt—an adventure that takes you in search of bird species throughout Fairfield.

Visit Pequot Library to see John James Audubon's Birds of America folio, on display in the Reading Room, and check out a Nature Explorer Backpack and field guide to discover and identify species that Audubon painted in their natural habitats at parks and open spaces around town.

It's a fun, interactive way for families and nature lovers of all ages to connect with birds, explore Fairfield's natural areas, and experience the wonder of the outdoors all summer long.
