Our Osprey Cam is live!

Butterfly Walk

Next to birds, butterflies are some of the most well-loved flying animals. Not only are they among the most beautiful flyers, but they also serve as vital pollinators for hundreds of plants. Connecticut has over 100 species of butterflies, and summer is a great time of year to see many of them. We’ll search the numerous gardens and habitats of the RTP Estuary Center sanctuary for these fantastic flyers, as well as learn how you can help and attract them to your own yard.
Walk will be less than half a mile on level grassy terrain. Restrooms on site.
